2023 saw the launch of the Headley Hens, a soft ball cricket section formed to provide the opportunity for women in the Headley, Whitehill and Bordon area to play cricket for the purposes of exercise, fun and development of the players and HWB CC. ​

 

Following our popular taster session in August 2022, the Hens were launched at BOSC in 2023 with coaching provided by Hants Cricket Board, supported by HWB CC coaches.  Weekly training is every Monday during the playing season 1800 at BOSC.  During 2023 the Hens played multiple friendly matches and participated in some softball festivals. After the success during 2023, we joined the league for the 2024 season and were promoted to the first division in 2025.   All fixtures can be found on Play-Cricket  here.
